Hi, I am Anna Maria! I am a graduate of the Secondary School of Fine Arts and the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław at the Faculty of Art and Ceramics Design (2013-2018). I participated in the six-month Erasmus+ program at Diatehnon Studio in Cyprus (2018-2019). I received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2022). I am a member of the Food Think Tank collective.
Of particular importance in my work is sound and its correlation with ceramics. During my several years of work, I have created sound installations, in which I consistently try to combine the beauty of form with the unique sound provided by ceramics.
My projects often refer to primary art and sculpture of nature, balancing on the border between art and design. I am fascinated by other cultures, their customs, rituals and spirituality.
I am inspired by Sumerian art, Indian Shipibo design, and religious architecture.
I work with clay, I create paintings and jewelry.
My paintings are rooted in the symbolism of tarot cards, alchemy, and medicinal plants. My intention is for each to act as an amulet for the person who interacts with it.
All my works are unique. I also do custom ceramics and paintings if it is in line with my line of work.
Since 2021, I have been teaching adults how to work with clay during ceramic workshops. I opened my own studio in Wroclaw in 2022.
My works are in private collections in Poland and abroad.
